Megan Eide, Pastor

Pr. Megan Eide started serving Danebod Lutheran in August 2023, after serving as a pastor in residency at St. Paul Lutheran Church (Davenport, IA) for two years. While Megan was born and raised in Bloomington, MN, her heart has been at home in Denmark since 2018 where she served for a semester as a pastoral intern with the United Methodist Church of Denmark. Megan is especially passionate about the spiritual wellbeing of kids and families, Danish language and culture, and supporting people of all ages through life's transitions. When she is not zipping around the Danebod campus, you can likely find her out and about with her cocker spaniel, Nisse, as they go for hikes or serve as a therapy dog team. To contact Pr. Megan, please call the church office or reach out to her via email at pastormegan@danebodlutheran.org

Trinity Williams, Administrative Assistant

Trinity joined the Danebod team in the fall of 2024, working part-time at the church and folk school while also taking a full course load online as a psychology student at SMSU. She hopes to use her love of painting and drawing and her passion for kids’ mental health to become an art therapist someday. In the meantime, she enjoys gardening and helping her mom (Jessica Merrill) with her new in-home daycare. Trinity is also a proud caretaker of two cats and two dogs. To contact Trinity, please email her at office@danebodlutheran.org or call the church office at (507)-247-3000.

Heather Furan, Treasurer

Heather has been a member of Danebod since her Sunday School years, accepting the position of Treasurer in January 2021. She has three sons, two grandsons, and two fur babies. When she is not crunching numbers or balancing spreadsheets, Heather enjoys gardening, repurposing furniture, shooting pool, and spending time with her grandsons. To contact Heather, or for financial inquiries, email her at treasuer@danebodlutheran.org.

Brenda Knudson, Caretaker

Brenda comes from a long line of Danebodians, many of whom were baptized, confirmed, and married here. She began working as the Caretaker in the fall 2021. It should come as no surprise that one of Brenda's greatest passions is fostering the hospitality and spirituality of this campus so that worshipers, campers, and guests can enjoy the fullness of all Danebod has to offer. Brenda's other passions are her kids and grandkids. When she's not tidying up the Dining Hall or remaking beds in the Lodge, chances are you'll find Brenda spending time with her family, tending the flowers in her garden, or baking sweet treats. To contact Brenda, please call the church office at (507)-247-3000.
