GivingHow to graciously support the ministry of Danebod
Thank you for considering a personal or memorial contribution to Danebod Lutheran Church. The gifts of our members and friends are the way ministry happens here, and we’re grateful for the 100+ years of dedication and generosity the people of this community have shown.
Undesignated gifts are appreciated and will be used by the Church Council as needed. Five percent of undesignated gifts will be placed in the Danebod Evangelical Church Foundation Fund.
WAYS TO GIVE
We’ll pass around an offering plate during worship services and other gatherings giving members an opportunity to regularly support the ministry of this congregation.
Simplify your giving by authorizing a regular, automated transfer from your checking or savings account directly to the church account. It’s confidential and convenient. For the church, this program helps to provide a consistent, predictable income. The seasonal fluctuations in giving patterns are reduced. To get started, fill out the authorization form by having one sent to you from the church office, or clicking the link and printing it out. Return it to the church office. If you have any unanswered questions, call the church at (507) 247-3000, or email us.
Gifts will be used to preserve the history and traditions at the Complex. (Danebod Church, Danebod Parsonage, Danebod Folk School, Danebod Gym Hall, And Danebod Stone Hall)
With the permission of the benefactor, five percent of designated gifts will be credited to the Danebod Evangelical Church Foundation.
PROGRAMS + PROJECTS
Gifts may be designated to enhance, foster and strengthen the activities of the Danebod church. Examples of funds include music programs such as choir or hand bells, youth programs such as three-day camp or the scholarship fund, and the flower fund.
Danebod Cemetery is chosen by many families (member and nonmembers of Danebod Lutheran Church) when cemetery plots are needed. Since costs to maintain the cemetery continue to grow, additional financial support is needed to sustain the cemetery Fund.
